Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 12 September 2026
These terms govern use of the Norlium Technology website and provide general information about services supplied by NORLIUM LTD. Additional terms, quotations or written agreements may apply to individual services.
1. About us
Norlium Technology is operated by NORLIUM LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17453791.
Registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ.
Email: contact@norlium.co.uk
2. Website information
Information on this website is provided for general information about Norlium and its services. We aim to keep it accurate and current, but availability, scope and pricing of services may change.
Nothing on the website constitutes a binding quotation or creates a contract unless expressly confirmed by Norlium.
3. Enquiries and quotations
Website, email, telephone or messaging enquiries do not by themselves create a contract.
Where appropriate, we will confirm the proposed service, scope, price or method of calculating the price, and any material conditions before work begins.
4. Services
The exact services provided will depend on what has been agreed with the customer. Services may include technology support, computer and software assistance, small-business IT support, digital assistance, website-related services and other agreed technology services.
Services supplied to consumers will be performed with reasonable care and skill as required by applicable UK consumer law.
5. Customer responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- providing accurate information relevant to the requested work;
- ensuring they have authority to request work on relevant equipment, accounts or systems;
- maintaining appropriate backups of important data where reasonably possible;
- providing lawful access needed to perform agreed services;
- not supplying passwords or sensitive information unless specifically required through an appropriate secure method.
6. Data and backups
Technology work can involve risks to existing data, particularly when equipment or software is already damaged or malfunctioning. Customers should maintain appropriate backups of important files before work is carried out where reasonably possible.
Any specific backup, recovery or data-handling arrangements agreed for a service will be explained separately where relevant.
7. Prices and payment
Prices and payment arrangements will be confirmed before chargeable work is undertaken unless another arrangement has been agreed.
Where a final price cannot reasonably be calculated in advance, we will explain how the price will be determined.
8. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation and refund rights depend on the type of service, how the contract was made, whether work has started and whether the customer is acting as a consumer or business.
Nothing in these terms limits statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
More information is available in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
9. Appointments and delays
We will make reasonable efforts to meet agreed appointments and timescales. If a significant delay occurs, we will aim to notify the customer and agree appropriate next steps.
10. Third-party products and services
Some services may involve third-party software, hardware, websites, internet services or other providers. Their products and services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for independent third-party services outside our reasonable control, although this does not affect any legal responsibility Norlium may have for services it has agreed to provide.
11. Website security, fraud and impersonation
Customers should take reasonable care when visiting websites, following links, responding to communications or making payments that claim to be connected with Norlium Technology.
The official Norlium Technology website operates through the norlium.co.uk domain. Customers should check website addresses carefully before providing personal information or making a payment.
Unauthorised third parties may attempt to impersonate legitimate businesses through fake websites, emails, telephone calls, text messages, social-media accounts or other communications. NORLIUM LTD does not authorise third parties to fraudulently copy, impersonate or misrepresent Norlium Technology, its website, branding, personnel or services.
If you receive an unexpected or suspicious communication claiming to be from Norlium Technology, do not provide passwords, authentication codes, sensitive information or payment until you have independently verified the communication using contact details published on our official website.
Customers should take reasonable online security precautions, including keeping devices and browsers up to date, using strong and unique passwords or passkeys, enabling multi-factor authentication where available, checking website addresses before entering information, and treating unexpected links, attachments and urgent payment requests with caution.
NORLIUM LTD is not responsible for independent fraudulent websites, messages, accounts or communications created and controlled by unauthorised third parties outside our reasonable control. This does not exclude or restrict any responsibility or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
If you believe someone is impersonating Norlium Technology, stop interacting with the suspicious communication and contact us using the details published on norlium.co.uk.
12. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability where doing so would be unlawful, including rights and remedies that consumers have under applicable consumer law.
For business customers, any specific limitations or allocation of risk relating to a particular project may be set out in the applicable quotation, proposal or service agreement.
13. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, content created by NORLIUM LTD for this website is owned by or licensed to NORLIUM LTD and may not be copied or commercially reproduced without permission except where permitted by law.
Ownership and permitted use of work created specifically for a customer will be governed by the relevant quotation or agreement.
14. Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
15. Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with a service, please contact us at contact@norlium.co.uk with details of the issue so that we can investigate and attempt to resolve it.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to the customer.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when our services, website or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published here.
